Chef David Rogers has a wealth of experience of wedding catering. "Weddings used to be very traditional, with the long buffet tables groaning under the weight of the dressed salmon and the carved gammon" he remembers. "Now, people want lighter, simpler food, and often prefer a restaurant style dinner rather than the cold buffet". "The explosion of cookery programmes and the rise of celebrity chefs has given everyone new ideas"
Some of the slightly quirky menus he has created for weddings include a Bollywood Banquet, Bangers’n’mash, an Italian-Riviera theme, and even a ‘Full Monty’ cooked breakfast for one Bridegroom!
